Sue Gimpel
Family & Home Life Coach
Sue knows the value and has reaped the rewards of Simplicity Parenting through her personal experience of raising three young children while facing serious health challenges of her own.
Sue has worked with both children and adults with: developmental disabilities, eating disorders, attention priority issues, environmental illness and food sensitivities, learning differences, anxiety disorders, and cumulative stress response in the settings of hospitals, mental health institutions, schools and homes. Sue loves helping parents of young children establish rhythms and routines that ease daily stressors and increase the joy of being together!
She also offers compassionate yet practical strategies for families with "soul fevered" teens and tweens. She is particularly interested in working with families in creating long term change. Whether by helping to establish lifestyles that may prevent the need for further therapeutic intervention, or supporting families already in a therapeutic process, the newly formed habits will help to sustain lasting results.
Along with the variety of experiences in the mental health field, Sue also has had entrepreneurial experience in the area of executive recruiting/career counseling. She has been parenting for 20 years with her husband Ralph, of 25 years. Though a native of Michigan, Sue's lived in California for 30 years and currently resides in West Sonoma County, CA, with her husband and their three children.
